National Emergency Briefing
1st November 2026

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. That evidence is now on the public record as a 50 minute film that sets out what the climate emergency means for our health, food, security and economy.
It will deliver the frank facts about the threats, but also the enormous benefits if our Government leads on genuine emergency action.
There will be a public screening of this film on Wed 11 November hosted by local MP Bell Ribeiro-Addy with time for a discussion about what we can do as individuals, communities and as a country. Many people who have attended similar screening events around the country commented that although the facts are alarming, they felt a sense of optimism about confronting the challenge together and seeing a pathway to a better future.
