Annual General Meeting.
Highlights from our annual report will be presented by the Chair of The Clapham Society, Mark Leffler. Later our guest speaker, Sarah Langford will present some of the insights from her book about the challenges facing UK farmers today as well as some of the innovative solutions that are already changing the way food is produced.
Sarah will describe her path from criminal barrister to farmer and why it made her believe that how our food is grown is relevant to us all, whether or not we ever step foot in a field. As one of the leading advocates for the growing regenerative farming revolution, Sarah will explore through real world stories and accounts why she believes that what she learned in a field might offer solutions for many the world’s poly-crises: not only our planetary, human and mental health but what we might can from the natural world about the power of connection and community.
