Clapham Old Town
We start at St Paul’s Church, in the heart of Old Clapham, and will stroll down Rectory Lane taking in how Clapham changed from a tiny hamlet to a prosperous village, with sympathies to Cromwell. Along Northside we will hear about authors, music hall artists and Samual Pepys. Crossing the Common we will look at Holy Trinity Church and of course the Common itself, finishing near Clapham Common tube station.
