The “Disappearing” Waste Site On Clapham Common

Work is well underway to hide what has been a blight at the centre of Clapham Common: A Green Waste site that over the years became more of a dumping ground for all sorts of rubbish and equipment.

Through a combination of new fencing and new planting around the perimeter of the site, most of it now blends more naturally into the rest of the common. The images below show how much improved the view is when walking along side the site.
