Talking About Old Age And Dementia
Pippa Kelly’s talk will explore society’s attitudes towards its elderly, particularly those with dementia, and cover little-known initiatives that are changing lives for the better.
Over ten years ago she began to write for the national press about her elderly parents’ declining years. She related her battles to secure state funding for both of her parents and her mother’s descent into dementia.
She has written a novel entitled ‘Invisible Ink‘ and will be signing copies of the book.
