September’s Lambeth Heritage Festival which is totally virtual this year features a fascinating variety of local history events.

The Clapham Society’s first event is a virtual walk on Sunday 6 September at 2.30 pm looking at the Ghost Signs – fading remains of advertising painted on walls – between Clapham North and Clapham Common.
The Festival programme created by Lambeth Archives, working with the Lambeth Local History Forum and contributions from Lambeth’s local societies, museums, friends groups, galleries and heritage projects offers over 40 online events throughout September.
