This season’s Summer concerts on the Clapham Common Bandstand are almost at an end, and the weather has so far been kind this year with Sunny weather.
The penultimate concert is The Clapham Society’s own concert with Junction Jazz, a popular local group playing Traditional Jazz and Dixie.
About The Band
Junction Jazz was formed in 2007 and has expanded to include a line-up that usually comprises trumpet, clarinet, saxes and trombone with a rhythm section of drums, piano and bass.
The South London-based musicians, play a diverse range of musical styles from jazz classics to Dixieland, Bebop and Bossa Nova.
Junction Jazz has played at various London venues, including art venues such as Battersea Arts Centre and Brixton Urban Arts Fair.
