The fascinating hisory of the deep shelters is the subject of this Clapham Society talk by Chris Nix.
He will also talk about updates on the scheme to open them.
In 2015, Transport for London announced a scheme to open up the Clapham South Deep Shelter for tours with a museum at ground level.
The ideas are attracting media attention and people are eager to know more. If you are one of those people, come to the talk and bring a friend!
Chris Nix is Assistant Director of Collections and Engagement at London Transport Museum.
