Local History Fair – Lambeth Heritage Festival 2021

FacebookX

Lambeth Heritage Festival 2021 One of the earliest events of the festival is the local history fair. With local history experts on hand, bookstalls, local society stands and a Farmer’s Market outside, the fair is a great day out and an opportunity to learn about the diverse history of Lambeth.

This year it will be held in St Mark’s church, Kennington on Saturday 4th September. Just drop in anytime to sample the programme of talks and local walks that will be running throughout the day.

It is easily accessible by public transport and St Mark’s church is directly opposite Oval Underground Station.

About the Festival

Lambeth Heritage Festival celebrates the diverse history of Lambeth, often focusing on some of the less well-known parts of our borough’s heritage. Most of the events in the programme are free and these include talks, films, author events, theatre, exhibitions, readings, walks and workshops. There is a mix of online and in-person events, and this is clearly stated on the programme. Some events need to be booked, so click on the “book here” link to book your place.

The full programme of all the events is available at bit.ly/LHF2021

We look forward to seeing you at the Local History Fair!
