The Clapham Society is happy to be taking part in the opening event of the Lambeth Heritage Festival in 2017.

This is a great opportunity to discover more about our area and we would love to welcome you at our stand. Several members of the Soceity are keen historians and regularly write about interesting people, buildings and events that took place in the area, including the history of organisations and cultures that have a strong relationship with Clapham.

As well as publishing books, the Clapham Society and its members aim to provide resources and guidance on where relevant records may be found, such as the Lambeth Archives.

And that is not all there is to see at the fair…

The Lambeth Local History Fair brings together local history societies, friends groups, local history publishers and heritage organisations from across Lambeth and offers a programme of talks, book stalls, led-walks, exhibitions and refreshments throughout the day.
