Talking About Old Age And Dementia
Pippa Kelly’s talk will explore society’s attitudes towards its elderly, particularly those with dementia, and cover little-known initiatives that are changing lives for the better.
Personal Story
Over ten years ago she began to write for the national press about her elderly parents’ declining years. She related her battles to secure state funding for both of her parents and her mother’s descent into dementia.
She has written a novel entitled ‘Invisible Ink‘ and will be signing copies of the book.

Since her parents deaths Pippa Kelly has become a leading writer on the care of the elderly and Dementia.

The bar at Omnibus is open from 7 pm, and meetings will commence at 8 pm.
Our guest will normally speak for about 45 minutes, followed by around 15 minutes for questions and discussion, and the bar will remain open after meetings.
